Manager Sack Index: AVB, Mick McCarthy exits and Alex McLeish and Martin Jol check in

Match Day 13 has come and gone (almost - Fulham plays Liverpool tomorrow), and our Manager sack index reshuffles again (not by much)

Andres Villa-Boas checks out of the top 5 thanks to a hard fought victory over Newcastle at Saint James Park. Here's our new top 5 -

#1. Owen Coyle
As predicted, Owen Coyle lost to Tottenham at White Hart Lane. It's only a matter of time before he goes. If he is lucky to be in charge by December 10, when Aston Villa visits, he may buy more time with a win.

#2. Roberto Martinez
Number 1 and 2 are really interchangeable. If Bolton wins at home to Aston Villa next week, the pressure will be on Martinez to produce a win at West Brom. It's likely that Martinez will be in the #1 hot seat next week, unless Bolton screws up.

#3. Steve Kean
Kean gambles on Carling Cup and gets a win at home against Swansea. Brief respite for the under fire boss. However, it would probably be short lived as his team travels to face a Sunderland team under new Manager, Martin O'Neill next week.

#4. Alex McLeish
Still in a decent 9th place position in the Premier League table, you may wonder why McLeish is suddenly in the Sack list. Firstly, it wasn't a smart decision to hire him to begin with. You can't hire the man who was responsible for taking your City rivals down to the Championship. But he won the league cup, right? Wrong. Arsenal lost the league cup final, he did not deserve to win with Birmingham.

Secondly, the fans have hated him from day one, and don't seem to show any signs of letting him off the hook. At the end of the day, they are the ones that pay to watch the team. They will get him fired soon.

#5. Martin Jol
Martin Jol was considered an improvement to Mark Hughes because of his past record with Tottenham and in the Dutch league. A victory against Liverpool will see him quickly exit this index. A defeat will certainly begin wagging tongues
